A rebirth is a trade you confirm on purpose. The prompt shows the reward and a Skip Rebirth button, so you can leave without resetting. The clearest button is at the sell point at spawn. A panel in the menu or shop area can preview the same payout.
Figures below were read off different sessions and may not match your build. The requirement on your prompt is the one that counts. No recorded rebirth charged cash. Every gate seen was a level.
Level gates that were actually read
| Occasion | Level seen | Note |
|---|---|---|
| First | 25 | One player confirmed at level 28, then dropped to level 1 |
| Second | 76 | The client said level 76 was required |
| A later one | about 100 | Eligible, and the player waited to keep farming items |
| A later one | 126 | A 3.5x gain followed |
| Sixth | 151 | Announced ahead of the reset |
| Ninth | 226 | Read on screen in a late-world run |
Other single readings, not a full ladder: a 4x bite entry at five rebirths, a twelfth rebirth, a "next up is 15" gate, and a level 201 requirement further up.
What resets
- Bite Strength goes back and has to be rebuilt.
- Level returns to 1.
- Held cash is described as lost in more than one session. One runner delayed the reset because the cash would disappear.
A written walkthrough still scheduled the reset before cashing out Earth, as if the sale could happen after the multiplier was applied. That conflicts with the "lose the money" sessions. Spend cash you care about before you confirm, which is safe under both stories.
Carried inventory survived one test: Earth was still in the bag after the reset. That is one item, not a rule for every item type.
Purchased bites, auras, Walkspeed, and Carry Capacity were never tested across a reset. A creator asked on camera whether upgrades are lost and did not check. Treat a huge purchase immediately before a rebirth as a risk.
What you can gain
- A higher bite multiplier. 1.5x was recorded on a first rebirth. 3.5x was recorded at the level 126 reset.
- Cash on some rebirths. A ninth-rebirth reading showed a one-time 10 billion. Another runner chained resets for about 250 trillion each.
- Count milestones. Five rebirths showed a 4x bite entry. A world door in one session asked for 23 rebirths.
Not every reset showed both a multiplier step and cash. The ninth-rebirth runner's clicks stayed the same after the one-time payout. Whether gains add or replace each other is not documented. Read the preview for the rebirth in front of you.
After you confirm
- Stand on the bite multiplier platforms and click. Strength returns faster there than in the open, and on-screen prompts point at the next upgrade.
- Open playtime rewards between resets. They hand over boxes you can sell. See Playtime and the group line.
- Chain another rebirth only while its requirement is cheap relative to what you are holding. One creator went from rebirth 8 to 11 in one sitting off a huge sale. Eleven in a sitting was called realistic after that sale, not as a normal first day.
Skip Rebirth when a level 100 run is paying better as items than as a reset. There is no documented best rebirth count.
